Frequently Asked Questions

GRANDSTAND BAG POLICY

To provide a safer environment to ensure the convenience and comfort of all individuals accessing the Grandstand, the Red River Valley Fair will now be implementing a clear bag policy. This policy limits the type of bags allowed into the Grandstand with exceptions made for medically necessary items and diaper bags after proper inspection. This policy will be enforced at the Grandstand entrance only. The Red River Valley Fair encourages visitors to not bring bags to events. All bags will be subject to search.

The following will be allowed into the Grandstand: Clear transparent bags made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC materials, or a small clutch bag, typically the size of a hand (approximately 4.5” x 6.5”). Small clutch bags may have a solid-colored exterior.

The following bags will be prohibited from bringing into the Grandstand: all purses, bags or containers larger than a clutch bag, backpacks, camera bags, coolers, or luggage of any kind. This is not an all-inclusive list and RRVF staff reserves the right to limit or permit entrance at their discretion. Bags not allowed will not be stored at the Grandstand and must be taken back to a vehicle or other arrangements made. The Red River Valley Fair will not be responsible for storing prohibited bags.

Oversized bags (diaper bags or medical bags) needed to accommodate specific needs of children/parents and individuals requiring medical assistance will be allowed, but are subject to inspection before entry.
