The Red River Valley Fair Association has the following employment opportunities available.

Executive Administrative Assistant

Our Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact at the Red River Valley Fair Association whether in person for walk in customers or on the phone. It is very important that this person is outgoing, polite and a people person with a willingness to learn and help others. You will be responsible for supporting our CEO and Executive team by creating correspondence, project management, report analysis and logistical planning. Our ideal candidate should be a self-starter, have strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Director of Sales

The Director of Sales is responsible for managing all sales including but not limited to sponsorships, rentals, commercial exhibitors, and concessionaires. This person must be able to read and understand budgets and maintain a good working relationship with sponsors, clients, and other staff members. The ideal candidate is a team player and has strong written and verbal communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to multitask with excellent time management skills.

Full Time Operations Team Member

1:30pm – 10:00pm (First Month Of Training 8am To 4:30pm)

· Under the direction of the COO (or others as assigned). the Operations Team Member will be accountable for daily tasks as they are assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Operate tractors, skid-steers, mowers, water truck and fork lifts, after proper training.

· Perform basic repair and maintenance on buildings and equipment.

· Perform grounds maintenance to include mowing, trimming, fencing, trash removal, snow removal, etc.

· Work with skilled craftsman in the performance of construction tasks.

· Perform other related duties as required By COO. Provide excellent customer service to all Fairgrounds customers and vendors.

Bartender - special events

· The Bartender must be 21 years of age. The Bartender has the responsibility of taking and filling customer orders. The Bartender must have, or be able to complete, their Server Certification Training.
